Pick Your Own Flowers at MERRI FLOWERS

Because of the adverse weather conditions over past few years we always put PYOs on the ‘maybe’ pile for within the scope of our business.

In 2025 we grew SUNFLOWERS & DAHLIA.

In 2026 we plan to offer SUNFLOWERS & SUN LOVING FLOWERS.

Sunflower Picking Experience at MERRI Flowers

Join us for an hour in our Sunflower plot

For just £10, enjoy a 1-hour visit to our farm where you can:

SUN LOVING FLOWER PLOT

Our sun loving flower plot will be right next to our ‘Hanger’ so a very, very short walk from our main entrance.

Our 2026 Plot will consist of

Amaranthus

Cosmos

Dahlia

Statice

Strawflower

Sunflowers

Zinnia

It’s not a big plot, but big enough to cater for at least 6 tickets per event.

We will adjust ticket availability according to stems in flower.

Please bring your our scissors and maybe a bucket to transport them home in if don't live close by or have brunch plans.

Please arrive by 10am to make the most of your allocated 1 hour PYO experience.

Come RAIN or SHINE our Picking Events will go on.

In the event of ‘adverse’ weather conditions, Eg a Thunderstorm, we may have to cancel this event, but we will decide the evening before the event.

Sun Loving Picking Experience

What to Expect

  • Fun for the Whole Family: Bring your loved ones for an hour of outdoor time picking flowers together.

  • Local and Fresh: All our flowers are grown right here on the farm with care and respect for the environment.

  • Friendly Assistance: We will be on hand throughout your hour visit to help you choose the best flowers and share tips on how to keep them fresh.

How It Works

  1. Purchase a ticket: Please purchase a ticket before arrival using the links on this page

  2. Bring Your Own Scissors and Container: Please bring a pair of kitchen scissors or secateurs and a bucket to transport your flowers home.

  3. Browse the plots: Find your favourite flowers to snip yourself 15 stems to brighten up to home or gift to a friend.

Tips for a Great Visit

  • Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes suitable for outdoor walking.

  • Please arrive at or just before 10am to make the most of our PYO experience time slot

  • Please check the weather and bring sun protection or rain gear.

  1. Our PYO Flowers will take place on the hour, so please arrive ahead of your time slot.

  2. The ground within our fields is uneven so we highly recommend closed-toes shoes
