Welcome to MERRI's Pick Your Own (PYO) Flower Experience, nestled in the heart of Oakley, Bedfordshire at our family-run flower and Christmas tree farm.
When to Visit
Our PYO flower season runs from August through September.
What to Expect
Wide Variety of Flowers: From vibrant sunflowers to delicate dahlias, you'll find a range of flowers ready for picking.
Fun for the Whole Family: Bring your loved ones for an hour of outdoor time picking flowers together.
Local and Fresh: All our flowers are grown right here on the farm with care and respect for the environment.
Friendly Assistance: We will be on hand throughout your hour visit to help you choose the best flowers and share tips on how to keep them fresh.
How It Works
Purchase a ticket: Please purchase a ticket before arrival.
Bring Your Own Scissors and Containers: Please bring a pair of kitchen scissors or secateurs and a bucket to transport your flowers home.
Browse the plots: Find your favourite flowers to snip yourself 10 stems to brighten up to home or gift to a friend.

When: Open daily from August 1st to September 30th, 10 AM to 12NOON
Tips for a Great Visit
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes suitable for outdoor walking.
Please arrive at 10am or 11am.
Check the weather and bring sun protection or rain gear.

Join us for some outdoor fun.
Check in just before 10am or 11am
Set off with Rachelle or Julian to our Dahlia or Sunflower plots. Our Dahlia plot is right next to our ‘Hanger’. Our Sunflower plot is a short walk nestled within our Christmas Tree Plots

Includes entry of up to 2 people to pick 10 flower stems.

Our PYO Flowers will take place on the hour, so please arrive ahead of your time slot.
The ground within our fields is uneven so we highly recommend closed-toes shoes

Our sunflowersare thriving. With vibrant green foliage forming steadily. Thanks to the sunny days, the plants are healthy.
We’re closely monitoring the growth to ensure perfect timing for our Pick-Your-Own (PYO) dates, aiming for peak flower quality and colour. Visitors can expect an abundance of beautiful sunflowers ready to pick throughout August and September.
