Pick Your Own SUNFlowers at MERRI FLOWERS

Because of the adverse weather conditions over past few years we always put PYOs on the ‘maybe’ pile for within the scope of our business.

In 2025 we grew SUNFLOWERS & DAHLIA.

In 2026 we plan to offer SUNFLOWERS & SUN LOVING FLOWERS.

Our 2026 flower PICKING season PLANS ARE IN PROGRESS

Thursday, 28th May - Plots Ploughed ready for seed sowing and planting

Friday, 29th May - Sunflower Seeds Sown

Friday, 12th June - Sunflower Seedlings Up!

Saturday, 25th July - Flowers just coming into bud. Predicting 14th & 15th August.

What to Expect

• Local and Fresh: All our flowers are grown right here on the farm with care and respect for the environment.

• Friendly Assistance: We will be on hand throughout your hour visit to help you choose the best flowers and share tips on how to keep them fresh.

How It Works

1. Purchase a ticket: Please purchase a ticket before arrival using the links on this page

2. Bring Your Own Scissors/Secateurs and Container: Please bring a pair of kitchen scissors or secateurs and a bucket to transport your flowers home.

3. Browse the sunflower plots: Find 10 stems to cut to brighten up to home or gift to a friend.

• When: We plan to open on Fridays & Saturdays

Tips for a Great Visit

• Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes suitable for outdoor walking.

• Please arrive at or just before 10am to make the most of our PYO experience time slot

• Please check the weather and bring sun protection or rain gear.

1. Our PYO SUNFLOWER events will take place on the hour, so please arrive ahead of your time slot.

2. The ground within our plot is uneven so we highly recommend closed-toes shoes
